We are challenging everyone to take these three simple steps to reduce your environmental impact. They're not hard and they will even save you money!
If every household in the UK took these three simple steps we could close down 10 power stations and still have enough energy left over to light all of the country's street lights. Start today. Reach every student!
We aim for every student in the UK (primary, secondary, college and university) to visit this website within one year. There are about 12 million students in the UK and roughly one third of households contain at least one student. In this way we could reach 8 million homes.

Close down a power station
No, we're not eco-terrorists, but look how simple it would be to put a major power station out of business. There are currently around 300 power stations in the UK, ranging from the small to the enormous. Reducing the nation's electricity demand by just 1% would mean that we could close one major power station. See our Making a Difference page to see how easy it would be to do this.
