We investigated ways to save water when we washed our hands using the push taps. We found out that we used 25 buckets of water per week in each class.
We saved water by 2 people using 1 push of the tap. This made a saving of 9 buckets per class each week!

We invited Mr Saunderson, the plumber, to explain to School Council about how we could change the taps to help us to save water. We looked through his magazines and chose twist taps because the children could turn the taps on and off themselves and save water.
The school council were worried about how the ice where the polar bears live is melting. They asked the children to design a poster to make everyone think about ways that we can help to save our planet.

Badger class wrote a story about a polar bear and a little girl.
The polar bear explained what has happenned to the arctic and how he dreamed about how everyone could help him save the planet.

Three representatives presented the story at the
Earth Summit at County Hall.
