Composting is a great way to recycle left-over fruit and vegetable waste. Lots of creatures live inside a compost bin. They eat the fruit/vegetable waste and recycle it to make compost full of great nutrients, which we then use on our garden.

Each day during break time we have a fruit/vegetable snack.

This is us looking at our daily supply.

All the children enjoy their fruit/vegetables.

After we have finished the fruit/vegetable there is a special bin in each classroom, which we collect any waste in.

We then empty the bins into our compost bin, ready for recycling.

Our compost bin soon gets full of fruit/vegetable waste.
